Itinerary:

​

Friday, October 30: Arrive Marrakech

​

• On arrival, transfer to The Sofitel Marrakech Lounge and Spa Hotel, a 5 star luxury property located in the chic Hivernage district of Marrakech

​

• Afternoon Tour of Marrakech which includes visits to: 

  • Koutoubia Minaret, part of the largest mosque in Marrakech and dates back to 1199

  • Bahia Palace, built in the late 19th century by the Grand Vizer and named for his favorite wife

  • Jemaa el Fna, the primary square of the medina featuring street performers, merchants and a variety of souks

• Evening: Welcome dinner at a local Moroccan restaurant

​

Saturday, October 31: Marrakech

​

• Morning: After breakfast, unleash your inner chef with a hands-on cooking class.  Learn to make traditional Moroccan dishes including tagines, cooked salads and more.  Enjoy the fruits of your labor for lunch.​

​

• Afternoon: After lunch, we'll head to the beautiful Majorelle Gardens which were created in 1923 by French Orientalist artist Jacques Majorelle and revitalized in the 1980's by Yves Saint-Laurent and Pierre Berge.   We'll also visit the incredible Yves Saint-Laurent museum where we will delve into the legacy of YSL and his links to Marrakech.

• Evening: Dinner will be held at a local Marrakech restaurant

​

Sunday, November 1: Marrakech and the Agafay Desert

​

• After breakfast, the morning and lunch is at your leisure.  Use this time to explore the beauty of Marrakech. 

​

• Late Afternoon/Evening: Head out to the Agafay Desert.  Known as the "Hidden Gem of Marrakech," we'll spend the next few hours riding ATV's through the hills and valleys of this incredible landscape.  We'll finish the evening with a Moroccan dinner under the desert stars while listening to local musicians.

Monday, November 2: Departure

• Transfer to the airport to board your flight home.
