Itinerary:

Friday, February 28: Arrive Charleston, South Carolina

  • On arrival, transfer to The Vendue, a boutique hotel, housing over 300 pieces of original artwork and  located in the heart of Charleston's historic downtown, where you will join your hosts and fellow guests for a welcome drink and dinner.

  • 5:00 PM: Welcome Drink, The Vendue

  • 6:30 PM: Welcome dinner at a local Charleston Restaurant

Saturday, February 29: Historical Charleston

  • Morning: After breakfast, begin the day with a walking tour of historical Charleston, led by a local.  Hear the stories and traditions revealing Charleston's rich history and colorful past.  Highlights include: Rainbow Row, Historic Waterfront Battery, Antebellum Mansions and other historical sites.​

  • Late Afternoon: You'll walk, talk and taste your way through Charleston while sampling delicious specialities from local eateries, markets, bakeries, restaurants and culinary landmarks.

  • After the culinary tour, return back to the hotel where the evening is left free for you to explore Charleston on your own.

Sunday, March 1: Middleton Place

  • After breakfast, we'll visit Middleton Place, a plantation that was built in the 1700's and is the former home of Arthur Middleton, one of the signers of he Declaration of Independence.  Known for its beautiful formal gardens, the oldest in America, we will be led on a private, behind-the-scenes tour of this historic preservation.  Lunch will be served at The Middleton Place Restaurant, known for its delicious Low Country cuisine utilizing fresh, local, seasonal, and organic ingredients, harvested fresh from the on-site organic farm and gardens.

  • After lunch, return back to the hotel where the afternoon is at your leisure.  

  • Farewell Dinner will be held at a Charleston favorite serving incredible local cuisine.

Monday, March 2: Departure

  • Transfer to the airport to board your flight home.
